@iisomeoneii2091 " his fault is poking the bear. He shouldn't have crossed Russia’s line even with western encouragement". This is bs. Putin was thinking of invading Ukraine for far longer then President Zelensky was in office. Putin wants the Russian empire back. That's all there is to it. It was never about NATO nor anything any leader of an independent Ukraine did.

@scoby41 Helping Ukraine defend itself from a war Putin-not Ukrainians-decided to have for a relatively low price is not providing much protection. And would be far less expensive in the long run than WW3-which is where Putin is heading if not stopped.

@Youtubesucks15 Considering they already put in more than the USA and are likely to be Putin's target at some point after Ukraine it makes sense for Europe to help Ukraine defend itself against Putin's warmongering for a decade if not longer. Better the war (and war is all Putin is offering) stay farther away from your own nation's borders than closer.

@InqvisitorMagnvs Possibly very true. We'll see if it responds to my comment on.

@Reciya-f3y Correct.

@nelsonking I call bs. Putin has been thinking about invading Ukraine for the better part of aa decade and has been claiming Ukraine has never been a real nation. That isn't about NATO that is about Putin wanting the Russian empire back. Also to call what happened in 2014 a coup is to repeat a lie. A corrupt former Ukrainian President fled after both breaking his campaign promises at Putin's behest and then using security forces on protestors-which resulted in a backlash he didn't care for. To many common Ukrainians it was a popular revolt. To the Ukrainian parliament and legal system it was that the particular corrupt former President abandoned his office-neither is a "coup".

@seanmorgan8128 "Russia still wants to end the war" Nonsense. Putin never wanted to end this war. He just wants a pause to store up more artillery before starting it up again. The only President to put forwards a real suggestion for peace is President Zelensky-he said he would exchange occupied lands for joining NATO. Becoming part of NATO means Putin may think twice before attacking yet again. Putin is a warmonger.

@Youtubesucks15 "We are done! Threaten us all you want, it’s up to them now." No. Trump is setting the stage for WW3 since Putin doesn't want to stop just like Hitler didn't want to stop. The warning from President Zelensky was a warning and not a threat. Calling it a "threat" is misrepresenting the situation. The question is if Trump wants to be the next Chamberlain (proclaiming "Peace In Our Time while actually arranging WW2) or not.

@TheGeoCheese " it’s time for Ukraine to come to the table" Ukraine put out a table earlier and invited many nations including Russia. Putin didn't want to come. Putin is a warmonger and figures he can get more of what he wants if he gets Trump to stab Ukraine in the back for him. Trump may even help Putin arrange WW3 since that is what it looks like Putin may intend.

@СеменМарина If you are Ukrainian best of luck to your people and my apologies for what appears to be the betrayal Trump is committing against your nation.

Very. And this is partly a lesson of forgetting what happened pre-WW2. Trump is arranging WW3 by acting like a Chamberlain. Except with all the Russian money Trump got it may be fueled more by corruption than naivety (like Chamberlain had). We encouraged Ukraine to give up their nukes, they officially stayed neutral until after Putin did a mini-invasion in 2014 of Crimea. They know Putin will never stop so the only question is do others help them and stop Putin when it costs less in money and lives or more. Waiting makes the latter more likely.

@Youtubesucks15 The US encouraged Ukraine to give up its nukes. That increases the US's responsibility. Plus you'd have to be from the USA for it to be part of "our" responsibility. I've not seen much proof you are.
