Foxnews had to pay because it lied about machines in an election while lying about the results of an election for President. Global Warming is also lied about by rightwing media and it is an issue that hits cites and nations worldwide. You focused on a couple of events involving small numbers of people-not whole cities or nations . There is a difference in scale here.
