Also it is funny in the comparisons that they left out blue states usually have better schools, better healthcare, and lower murder rates. The last point is especially ironic since the video tried to talk up red states being tough on crime while blue states are actually safer-for example New York has a lower murder rate than Texas.

Good catch. You noticed some of the stats that Prager made a point of not mentioning in this video-probably because they didn't want their narrative questioned.
2
Doesn't work because the facts contradict the Republican narrative. For example. Minnesota and New York-both blue states-have lower murder rates than Texas and Tennessee-both red states.

@AnnMucha I thought I just replied to you but I don't see my reply. Anyway New York already has a large number of immigrants and already has a lower murder rate than Texas. If the Migration Policy Institute is correct then New York already has a higher % of immigrants in its population than Texas does while still being safer than Texas. 1st time I did search on AJW I got Japanese women wrestling. 2nd time I found a thing titled Sam Debates Actual Justice Warrior Sean Fitzgerald under a podcast called The Majority Report. Podcasts are nice but I'll take stats over them-though I may lidten to the debate at some point.

You are aware Minnesota is something like the 15th or 10th safest state in the USA.. right? If you want a higher murder rate move to most other states.. especially Alabama.

@emberfireangel4gaming22 Funny little known thing about gerrymandering in Illinois. Yes it is 1 of the states where Dems did it rather than Republicans. The then Republican governor was invited to join a lawsuit in Federal Courts to end gerrymandering across the USA by some Dems in a state Republicans gerrymandered-making it both clearly bipartisan and multiple state lawsuit. He did not. Republicans across the USA came out against the anti-gerrymandering lawsuit and thus the conservatives on the SCOTUS overruled lower Federal Court Judges to allow gerrymandering to continue. Republicans throughout the USA were willing to sacrifice Republican voters in some states in order to use gerrymandering to keep rigging elections in other states. FYI national Democrats did not do likewise.

There is no reason for a dem moving to a red state to leave politics behind. If someone buys an old and worn down house because it is cheaper then fixing it up is a pretty normal thing to do after. Land is cheaper in a lot of red states. Once there dems want to improve things (like lowering the murder rate, better services, and so on) so blue they vote.
1
In other words you see other people having the same right to vote and have their vote count just as much as you as somehow unjust. That seems really twisted and loaded with entitlement/elitism.

Florida's murder rate is worse than New York's.
1
Didn't know being more likely to live in a state where the elections for state legislature are rigged is "more freedom" and where the murder rate is higher is "more safety".
1
They move to a red state and find out the land is cheaper because red states don't fix their problems and the people who moved want those problems fixed. Better schools, better healthcare, and lower murder rates are something blue states often have and red states do not.
1
If moving to a red state definitely bring one's politics with them. May be 1 of the few ways to fix up the place(s) and get better schools and lower murder rates.
1
Better as in worse schools and higher murder rates? I'll think I'll not move to a red state.
1
Not only are blue states usually maker states that send more money to the Federal Gov than they receive while red states are taker states that do the reverse but blue states are usually safer places to live with New York having a much lower murder rate than Texas.

I see the sarcasm is strong with you.

@Warie101 It was both a modified quote from a movie and a compliment. He was being very sarcastic and did a good job of it.
1
By "good" do you mean deceptive? For example, you notice how they claimed to compare states in this video and then suddenly never actually compared crime rates in different states? That is because blue states often have lower crime rates. They mentioned both New York and Texas in this video, but not that the murder rate is much higher in Texas than New York.
1
Delaware too safe for you? Louisiana has corruption and a higher murder rate to keep things interesting I guess..
1
Except those human beings that want better schools, better healthcare, and lower murder rates. If people want higher murder rates then several red states are available.
