  1. To be clear. Democrats passed a bill doing more campaign finance reform in the US House the last term they held it. Republican US Senators filibustered the bill in the US Senate. That is not "both major party's". 1 party is clearly worse on the issue. Also it is thanks to SCOTUS members appointed by Republicans that rules related to money in politics have been weakened. Both take money, but it is wrong to say they are similar on the issue.

  3. Republicans are worse. When Democrats held the US House a few years ago they passed a bill that included campaign finance reform. Republicans in the US Senate filibustered it. Also Musks probably wants control over government contracts to give himself some-reeks of conflicts of interest/potential for corruption. Also Trump already said he wants to suspend the US Constitution, so yes Democrats are better for it as well. FYI Trump didn't care about if voters had to show their IDs when he was suing to try to make their votes not get counted back in 2020 in 1 of his tries at stealing that election.

  4. Pretty sure stealing elections is not a way to stop corruption. Especially since the current republican nominee for President is deeply corrupt.

  5. 1 party is still clearly worse than the other. It has largely been appointees from 1 party to the SCOTUS that are looking to tear up campaign finance laws.

  6. Yeah but Foxnews and Twitter aren't all of mainstream media. Just part of it. Though Twitter is arguably not part of mainstream media just a website overrun with bots.
