From this situation is there even more reason to ask if Trump is a Russian agent? Taking a rare opportunity to do something and turning it into another chance for Putin seems oddly pro-Russian to me.

Thank you.

chickenlover I believe he means Putin would try to blame Ukraine despite te blame being false.

Trump's only stressing human beings out who have functional brains. Any who don't should be totally calm.

@HubertofLiege "rural Americans are not interested in a government handout, that’s attributable to urban democrats" Care to explain how that works when many states make their money off of urban areas?
4
ABC DEF I believe that was to clear jungle, not farmlands. Not a good thing but not actually targeting crops.

So when Wagner attempted an ill fated attack on US troops in Syria lost badly despite a US officer specifically calling their organization and asking if that was their forces trying to attack his position and the reply he got was no that it was a lie within a lie. Wagner (as was known but not admitted) was attacking and possibly under the approval of Putin? Don't feel bad it didn't go well for Wagner.

He does. And he doesn't usually get called on things. For example when they played a clip of the The Colbert Report and interviewed a US official as part of arguing the US caused back in 2014 all this they never mentioned the part where the official said the Ukrainians are choosing their future.
2
My sympathies. I encouraged our political leaders in my nation to support yours and I will again. I'm glad that we have people willing to reveal just how bad the attempt made to betray Ukraine was. I hope alternatives that Trump doesn't have control over can be assembled and are enough.
2
@Ayo_Matrixx Sorry. If you are inside the US you can prepare for the long struggle against it (but at the very least you can look for ways to voice concerns in a public forum so that others also see the potential impact of Trump's messes), but as a US citizen there are things you can do.
2
Have you ever listened to Kraut (youtuber's self given nickname) and his "Critique of realism"? I think it is well done and informative.
2
@seanmorgan8128 Might have to?? If a Ukrainian general said that it would be in a situation where Ukrainians are trying to slow down advancing Russians by denying them a bridge to cross. That is the opposite kind of situation Ukraine is in right now where their CounterOffensive is getting going and the Russians want to slow it down.
1
Thought about it. Also considered the chance this was a trick to root out those people who realized Putin is not only bad for the world in general but also Russia in specific.
1
Put down the crack pipe before posting please.
1
Would these moves be evidence Trump is a double agent trying to weaken the USA from within?
1
War not going your way Ivan? Too bad. Also Ukraine's President is honestly elected. That is part of why who is President of Ukraine can change after an election and has-kind of different from Russia.
1
Probably wants to carve a new Islamic state out of Russia.

@falf9003 Just because Texas is often hot doesn't mean things cannot get worse

If civilization ends then people may not have much use for gold either. If civilization restarts then so will fiat currency. Neither provides that much advantage for gold. If things really fall apart someone cannot eat gold to live.

@anthonyml7 Peter Zeihan pointed out how Trump was taking a loss for Putin (Syria) and threatening to turn it into an opportunity (in other nations in the Middle East). Trump also seems to be undercutting Ukraine after appearing to support them earlier (get minerals out of them for doing little or nothing, say Russia will keep occupied lands without penalty, and on). Plus I believe there is history of Trump getting loans from Russians during the Great Recession to avoid getting bankrupted (again). So Trump may owe Russian oligarchs (Putin indirectly) or Putin himself.
1
@anthonyml7 I think I already pointed out Trump seeming to betray Ukraine. In addition he has a history of both saying things positive of Putin and of taking Russian money to help his business.
1
@anthonyml7 You're welcome. Though what nation are you living in that Trump falsely accusing Zelensky of being a dictator didn't make the news?
1
@anthonyml7 I saw a clip of Trump shooting his mouth off. The question is not over believing everything you read but what you believe of Trump and when. On the down side what he said was not good by far, on the up side it isn't uncommon for him to contradict himself.

Agreed, if Ukraine was ever going to blow the dam it would be to slow a Russian onslaught, not to hinder their own offensive. Plus there is video of a Russian soldier acknowledging that he was part of the group that put explosives in the dam. Now if Russians were putting explosives in the dam so they would blow it up whenever they felt like it then maybe, just maybe Russians decided to blow it up just when Ukraine may be slowed down by it not being there anymore. Plus to deny them the chance to get it back.

I think mooncake387 also has a few bridges to see in the New York area if anyone is interested.

You forgot that aliens are involved and are transporting key people from place to place. Plus the dinosaurs are still around and just hiding.

"The problem with the predictions is that reality keeps refusing to go along with them at all." This isn't true. A number of expectations related to Global Warming have come to pass-such as floods increasing.
1
Correct on the verbage. But the result is still an economic downturn if not collapse. Thus a good reason to not use it for finances.
1
@DoloresJNurss That would be very interesting. I would love to have more info on that.

@thereflection Which of Mearsheimer's points would this be? 1 claim that Mearsheimer said during a debate is that Putin sees increased democracy in Ukraine with, as Kraut put it, a "politically enfranchised public" as US meddling that should be ended.
1
@LRRPFco52 True but unless the moves we have seen him make already are to lure Putin into making a a deal that is better for Ukraine than we expect I don't hope for much good out of Trump.
