  3. it was never going to be fast just sit in the middle of the gap and provide air cover to do that it was to use multi engine aircraft so needed a full size runway it was not so much an aircraft carrier as a mobile island with an airfield also had the nice feature that any damage could be repaired with water and woodpulp even when at sea

  11. nope you missed the point of the bullet demo add that to the thickness of the hull the thing realy was unsinkable, anyy damage you just repaired with more frozen water and woodpulp
