  1. The RN was based a further north than the UK, A general point with all these senerios is it normaly assumes very little reaction from the other side

  2. but you have reduced the amount of torps that you have drastically the current navy only has 6 subs compared to the 100+ U boats no matter how good they are they can only sink 1 ship per torp
