@mijicmugendo its also worth noting that the uk is now about half way through its vaccination program with the infection and death rates falling fast while the EU are heading into another wave with the number rising. dont worry about the deathtoll till its all over because there is still plenty of time for things to change

@mijicmugendo with Ireland there is a population density difference as well to be considered, most of the deaths appear to have happened during he second lock down so the UK varriation would have been a factor in this

@mijicmugendo your upset about the uk pushing forward with 1 does and extending the gap with the second dose, your right the perscentage od people with 2 does in the UK is lower than the EU this is because 1 does still has a significant affect, everyone will have 2 doses in the end but we belike that 2 people with a level of resistantance is better than 1 person having resistance is even if the resistance is lower and the number of infections and deaths would back that up in the last few weeks
