@jaymorgan7728 No he's not Mr Burns is a cartoon character who we can laugh at. There is nothing cartoonish about Rupert Murdoch and there is nothing funny about what he does. However if you are talking about a sociopathic narcissistic cretinous monster who we would all like to see his heart stop if he had one, then yeah maybe there's some similarity.

Warren Buffet 92, Charlie Munger 99, Rupert Murdoch 91 and Barre Seid 91 are just a few of the over 90 year olds with way too much say of our lives. If you then start to include people like Charles Koch 87 who openly states his intent to re-write the US Constitution, there is a huge problem with the incredible power these people have just from their wealth.

@kimmettfarlston-chew Buddy do you not get the basic fact that ALL, NOT JUST SOME BUT ALL of Western Society is now dominated by a loose collection of VERY OLD hyper selfish BILLIONAIRES who just wont let go and retire. There's a really serious aspect to this. I'm an engineer and we are at the world's next great energy transition. Just as we once moved on from horse & sail, to coal & steam and then onto oil we are now moving on again. It actually has almost nothing to do with Climate Change. Its just happening when climate change is a major influence. We actually should have moved on from oil 40 years ago and gone nuclear BUT various factors prevented that including the fact we never got to use the other forms of nuclear. They aren't baby boomers but war babies born before or during WW2. They are the generation who rebuilt the world after WW2 and see all the rest of us as incapable to do do anything. They also refuse to admit they have made any mistakes and yet that is now incredibly obvious. The consequences of their economic mismanagement is going to bite us like a T-Rex with a hangover.

@DetroitAnalog Great question. I'm an engineer not a psychologist but I did do Psych 101 in college. The most basic difference between a a sociopath and a psychopath is that a sociopath has no capability to empathise or care others while a psychopath is driven by their compulsions. Narcissists are people so selfish there's a specific psychological term for them. So take you pick are these people sociopaths, psychopaths, narcissists or combinations of all 3.
