Kudos to Emma for trying to be rational with irrational clowns like this. I'm divided on whether its worth trying to engage or expose them for what they are.

I think you are specifically referring to Tim Poole but I'd slightly modify that statement to "A coward never debates a rational person alone, they always need backup." Never forget that no matter what the ideology someone has (left, right, up, down, whatever,....) once they get to the point where defending their ideology matters more than rational behavior there's a very real problem because such people are willing to destroy society to prove their point. We have dozens of examples from history including recent history that prove that. Don't ever forget that when the left get out of control they do it at spectacular levels or do we need to discuss Russia, China, North Korea or any of the other communist or socialist countries that have been catastrophic failures or are their way to catastrophic failure.

@bladewars7889 Are you saying Emma wasn't rational? Cos if you are then you need to go and check out what being rational means.

@dudeman5303 Your right - its the whole confirmation bias issue that's the single biggest issue with social media when it comes to social and political issues. One of the big problems for most people is they either they wont take the time to think about issues or they don't have the ability to think through complex issues. So they tend to look for people who will summarize things for them. That leaves them wide open to being manipulated by BAD FAITH ACTORS. History is littered with such people, but what makes our time so more volatile is the BFAs never had a platform like social media. In previous generations people like Tim Poole would have been lucky to speak to several hundred people. In the era of radio he might have reached 1,000s and TV 100s of 1000s. But now people like him can reach out to millions. That makes the possibility of them reaching out to an already disturbed person a lot more likely. This is my real problem with the Tim Poole's of the world THEY DON'T CARE how biased their crap is or who it affects. This is the real flaw in the Ayn Rand "me, me, me, before anything else" nonsense. You end up with people like Tim Poole having influence over disturbed people and when it goes wrong they blame everyone else. And never underestimate that BFAs can come from any direction - left, right, up down and any color of the rainbow.

@paulhammond6978 WTF are you blabbering on about??? Don't tell people to restate their points when you aren't making any sense in the first place. Looking at your other comments AND THE REPLIES you get you might want to think about what you're saying.
