AS an example: Earlier today Saagar Enjeti interviewed Marc Andreesen about AI and as an engineer I think Andreesen explained very little. The one good point he did make was that production of AI chips is so low it will hinder or limit growth. The most egregious thing he said was regarding government interference in growth which is a very typical investor/neoliberal standpoint. I did my degree in aerospace engineering at the U. of Illinois which is where Andreesen did his undergrad degree as well worked at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) located at U. Illinois. I know this place it was just down the street from where I took classes. So I know for a FACT that his education was in part state funded and his early employment where he was trained and introduced to graphical web browsers was PAID for by the US Government. Andreesen's narcissism and hypocrisy were unbeleiveable.
