  1. ​ @johnmartin4641  You're pretty much 99% right I'd just suggest a slight change to the line "taught material that is actually useful in high paying jobs so they will make lots of money to support themselves and their families" to "taught well enough so they can be reasonably well employed and make enough money to support themselves and their families in a stable environment" Not everyone can be a brain surgeon, astronaut, NFL QB or many other things, but they can have reasonable employment that allows them and their family to have a good life. There was a report from September 2022 by the congressional budget office on Family Wealth 1989-2019, that's been ignored by 99.9% of ALL Media. It shows that 50% of America still has NOT recovered from the 2008 GFC and another 40% has only just recovered. Meanwhile the Top 10% who caused the GFC and were bailed out (US$4 Trillion by Bush and another US$4 Trillion by Obama) have made over US$30 Trillion since.

Just like Keynesianism before it had had its day this shite that Reagan and Thatcher started has had its day. In fact it should have been done with after the 2008 GFC and instead we got the mess we now have.
