The problem for the GOP with Trump being gone will be similar to when a mob boss is removed (by whatever circumstances) there'll be a monstrous power vacuum that will be ripe for the worst of opportunists to fight over and as Trump proved the GOP base is a disaster right now. There's a similar problem for the Dems. They have spent 30 years stifling anyone from outside their Ivy League inner circle. At a moment when they and America needs an actual leader who can stand firm, lead and make difficult decisions. The DNC has done everything possible to cut down any potential younger leaders except the rare exceptions with connections. This is NOT uncommon across the world either. I'm Australian and both our parties have spent the last 20-30 years doing the same thing. We get the news from Britain and they're telling a similar story there too. We all have problems with these older politicians who just wont go away and the ex-politicians who become lobbyists.
