I know it sounds terrible but the simple fact is that the rich and powerful have done this sort of thing since the dawn of history. Kings, Emperors and their lackeys pretty much did whatever they liked and took whatever they wanted. We might not have moved that far or improved that much but the simple fact we have moved on. What's disgusting is that Trump thinks we still live in one of those bygone eras. Worse is that he believes he can get away with it because he's always gotten away with it..

@laurendaryani4893 That's a great point but its not just restricted to Trumpists. Unfortunately there are supporters of every political party who are just as blind and believe their party is infallible. They might not be as bat crap crazy as the MAGA hats, but they are just as blind.
