@fredsanford1437 Well done you've given one of the few sensible comments in this clusterf*ck of a discussion.

I'm not defending what he's become, but Jimmy seemed to be fine up to that point where the Squad didn't force the vote. Something in Jimmy broke and he's just gone of the rails. Jimmy was always on about being progressive and at its heart progressivism is about change. Jimmy used to interview people like Mark Blyth, Richard Wolff and others who are saying the world needs to change. When the Squad did nothing to force change I think Jimmy saw it as a complete betrayal and it broke him. Jimmy's still about change its just that he now wants to do it with a wrecking ball named Trump.

@utterbullspit Don't know. I never saw him advising Trump, but then EVERYONE on the planet tried at some point to advise Trump. Mostly with 2 words "off" and a word rhyming with "puck" but he never listened. Maybe Jimmy was always something else. All I can say is he was preaching as a progressive and interviewing decent people. Then they didn't force the vote and he flipped out and just started screaming garbage and it only got worse. I used to like Jimmy because he did have on people like Mark Blyth and be reasonable. But these days I wouldn't give Jimmy a second. He's seriously skull FKD. And for the record I don't blame the squad for being the trigger. Jimmy ruined his own life.

@nathanielbables8652 Simple answer - I don't know, but it seems he has.

I'm the other way. I stopped watching him about a year ago. Before that Jimmy seemed to be fine up to that point where the Squad didn't force the vote. Something in Jimmy broke and he's just gone of the rails. Maybe it was always an act - Jimmy was always on about being progressive and at its heart progressivism is about change. Jimmy used to interview people like Mark Blyth, Richard Wolff and others who are saying the world needs to change. When the Squad did nothing to force change I think Jimmy saw it as a complete betrayal. Jimmy's still about change its just that he now wants to do it with a wrecking ball named Trump.

IT WASN'T the HERITAGE FOUNDATION who picked the judges it was the FEDERALIST SOCIETY. The Heritage Foundation along with the CATO Institute have trashed the discussions on climate change. For fark sake if your going to trash the Washington Think Tanks do it properly.

@Mark-zk3gu The squad (as in the progressives) didn't force that vote in congress over Medicare for all. Jimmy was rabidly for forcing it even if it lost. To him it didn't matter just having the vote mattered. When they didn't do it he saw it as a total betrayal and cowardice and Jimmy's brain blew several fuses. After that he just started ranting at everything. It got so wild I just stopped watching him. There was nothing in that stuff that had anything to do with Trump. What Jimmy's done is latch onto the next thing that might create change and that's Trump. Trump isn't a progressive in any way shape or form and never has been. If anything Trump was a regressive trying to take America back to the Reagan years at least economically. BUT to his base he represents change as in change away from the GOP & DNC establishments.

@Mark-zk3gu I don't disagree with that, I'm just telling people what I saw. They didn't force they vote and he flipped out over it. In what farking way have I linked Trump to anything progressive. Trump is NOT (do you understand the word NOT) progressive he's regressive. Do you understand the difference between those words? Progressive means forwards. Regressive is the opposite as in backwards. Both mean change. Jimmy wants change. He didn't get it from progressives so he joined Trumps regressive bullshite. What part of that don't you FARKING UNDERSTAND or do you have a reading problem?

@EroticInferno Your first point of jimmy maybe true. My bet is your a millennial because all millennials have this over realistic view that "clicks" are the be all and end all purpose of life. Its not ok. The force the vote saga was simply the corporate Dems beating the squad into submission. It had nothing to do with conspiracies and everything to do with modern politics. It isn't about doing stuff its about winning the next news cycle. On Jimmy cosplaying to make money. Its an Occam's Razor answer. If you look at all the other possibilities its the only answer left. At first I didn't agree with that but by the time I got this far - YEAH I think your right. Its an act to make money.

@ryanlott1108 1) I stopped watching Jimmy because 99.9% of it was just howling rage at anyone who stepped in front of him. It was just ridiculous. 2) I've not heard or seen anything to suggest he's had Richard Wolff on and I know who he is. I watch his channel from time to time. Richards pretty good most of the time and gives pretty good insight but there's also times when he's just plain wrong. 3) Mark Blyth was on Jimmy on a regular basis irrespective of if he was a professor or not. As for other commentators on the left - yeah I'd like to see them interview Mark or Stephanie Kelton or others who can actually explain why the world is a mess. The fact they don't is damning on them. In fact its why I have dropped a number of subscriptions. TYT and Majority Report being 2 of them. IRRESPECTIVE, like all of the others JIMMY has to accept responsibility for Jimmy. As I have said to others we can all look at specific events that seemed to flip him out, but he's got to accept responsibility for himself. That's arguably the greatest weakness of American culture (and Western culture in general), too many people want somebody else to blame.
