  1. Australian here: Yeah, Sorry but the whole world knows. What's more important is that WE KNOW just how f*cked up the GOP has become because of the Trump Era. I don't think Americans realise just how concerned we are. Whether the rest of us like it or not there are some inescapable facts. 1) America is still the largest and most power full military force on the planet. Forget China - YES they have huge numbers and can simply overwhelm most other nations but their Military is all designed for operating within the First Island Chain. YES they have a huge Navy and YES they have a staggering number of anti-ship missiles stockpiled. But their missiles have limited range and their submarines are at the same level as the Americans and Soviets were in the 1970s maybe 1980s. Navy on Navy it would be carnage like the world hasn't seen since the Greek and Persian navies went at it 2000 years ago. 2) The American Economy is still the largest economy in the world at just under 25% of the worlds economy. If America sneezes the rest of us get the flu. if America gets genuinely sick its like our economies getting Ebola. 3) The American $$$ Dollar is still the World's reserve currency and NOTHING is going to change that anytime soon. Forget all the reasons why it might be better to get rid of the reserve system based on the $US and everyone's reliance on it - JUST IN PRACTICAL TERMS how does anyone think it can actually be done AND THEN what do we replace it with?
