@archelonprime I know comparing then is like comparing a Formula 1 to truck. One needs a team of mechanics doing service every hour then other just keeps going. I saw a doco comparing them years ago and there conclusion was that the Sherman was the more effective tank. It was cheaper and easier to build and you could throw 1000s and 1000s of them into the fight rather than just a 1000 temperamental lumps of moving metal. But at NO point did anyone want to be in a Sherman when a Tiger was involved.
