  1. He's making a point that so many people ARE NOT and that is the former Soviet satellite states have NOT forgotten what the Russians did to them all through the cold war. Sure the Americans were bad and overthrew democracies and installed puppet dictators all over the place BUT THE RUSSIANS WERE WORSE. At least in America and the West we had the choice to throw out governments and politicians every few years.
