  1. Its actually what we should have expected. Since European settlement there's almost not a single part of Australia that hasn't flooded at some time. Even some of our desert areas have flooded. When our droughts break its usually in a big way, but this is something bigger than expected. 2 weeks ago it was as dry as dry could be. A bush fire would have been massive. What's surprised people is just how much fell in an insanely short time.
