  1. You've just told the same story other countries have been telling for decades. I remember a news story on Indonesia a few years ago and they had received $30 Billion from the IMF and over $20 Billion has simply disappeared. The building of monuments for politicians to hand their names on is a giant issue everywhere. the Chinese are just getting in on a game the rest of the world has been playing for decades. I'm an Australian engineer and in the engineering game there is nothing better than an egotistical clown wanting to put their name on a monument using ither people's money. We have cases of it here in Australia. They tore down the Sydney football stadium instead of renovating it. By the time the site was levelled they had worked out the rebuild costs and it was so over the planned budget its now just a flat wasted area. Another of our cities, Brisbane has won the 3032 Olympics. They actually didn't win everyone else pulled out when they realised the costs. But our idiots pushed on and so far their planning is ridiculous. We've had programs like 60 minutes tell these same Chinese stories about things in the Pacific. And its the same sorts of similar stories. They find an idiot wanting to put their name on a monument.
