Comments by "Tony Wilson" (@tonywilson4713) on "Chinese outrage at new US-UK-Australian security pact - BBC News" video.
You forgot to mention: - the seizure of dozens of small islands across a vast area of the ocean. - the deal with the Taliban. - the deals with other dubious regimes across Africa for access to resources. - and lets not forget everyone's favorite sabre rattler North Korea that the Chinese push at the rest of Asia.

Yeah that bit is a bit stupid. Trump tore up NAFTA in a heartbeat screwing the Canadians and Mexicans. I was in Canada when that happened and it makes me wonder how we can trust the Yanks going forward. Most of them are fine its the nutters that worry me. Then there was that little lie about WMDs where they dragged us into a war. As for the Brits we have totally forgotten that back in the 1970s they totally FUBARd us when they joined the Common Market. Before that they abandoned us in WW2 while they demanded we help them. Before that they sacrificed a generation of Australians on the beaches of Gallipoli and the fields of Flanders. They also used us for nuclear testing in the 1950s and have refused to clean up the test sites. Why anyone thinks they can trust either the Brits or the Yanks long term is kind of ignoring history.

Lest face reality anything other than total compliance upsets the CCP. China invades Tibet - The CCP says mind your own business. China kills 1000s after the Tiananmen Square protests - The CCP says mind your own business. China takes over 100s of small islands across the ocean - The CCP says mind your own business. China locks up an entire cultural group and starts a program of cultural genocide - The CCP says mind your own business. The Chinese steal every bit of technology it can - The CCP says mind your own business. The Chinese people forge, copy and fake 1000s of products violating copyright - The CCP says mind your own business. The Chinese burn more coal than the entire planet did in the 1970s accelerating climate change - The CCP says mind your own business. The Chinese promise to allow Hong Kong to go on as a democratic society and then DOESN'T - The CCP says mind your own business. Australia does a deal for submarines and China complains. Message to China - MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

That's an idiotic statement the deserves all the scorn on the world when THE REAL REASON WAS COST The French Government paid the Equivalent of $2Billion Australian for each nuclear powered Barracudas and then DCNS asked Australia to pay $7.5Billion for each of the conventionally powered equivalent - WHAT DID THEY EXPECT? It was like asking someone to by a Renault or Peugeot for $75,000 after selling the same car with an upgraded engine $20,000. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

When the French Government paid the Equivalent of $2Billion Australian for each nuclear powered Barracuda and then DCNS asked Australia to pay $7.5Billion for each of the conventionally powered Barracuda - WHAT DID THEY EXPECT? Bottom line they tried to rip us off and we knew it.

@francois-xavieresperance5007 Interesting comments. What was the article you pointed out - that comment seems to have been deleted. The really big issue I see is that we are tying ourselves even harder to America and the problem there is they showed with Trump there is a significant part of their population who will screw anyone in a heartbeat. I was actually working in Canada when Trump tore up NAFTA and hit them with tariffs. There was simply no warning. Trump just did something that would rate with his base. The Canadians might not ever trust them again after that and we should be very careful. I actually went to college in America on a sports scholarship. I love the place and the people BUT when it comes to politics they are so tribal and its almost impossible to get them to see how destructive that is.

@LouisTsuiful 2 words princess BULL SHIT. Its staggering how ignorant some people are. The PLAN might have a lot of ships but it doesn't have the raw fire power of the USN. 2 Aircraft Carriers versus 11 7 Ballistic missile submarines versus 14 and another 4 missile subs 12 Nuclear powered attack submarines versus 50 Forget the 60 conventional attack subs out in the Pacific they are worthless. The USN has 70 Arleigh Burke destroyers backed up by 22 Ticonderoga cruisers. If the PLAN only tried to take on 1/2 of the USN it would still be a massacre. The open ocean is where America's real strength is not the hills and deserts of the Middle East.

@francois-xavieresperance5007 So briefly what was that article about. Most likely the YouTube algorithm didn't like the link.

@francois-xavieresperance5007 That's fairly blunt across a whole field of issues. The pacific is almost lost as it is to China. Australia, America and others have been very slack and taken for granted all those small island states would always be in our camp. China turned up a decade ago and started funding projects as part of "belt & road." They are no so entrenched its almost impossible to get them out, because so many of those nations now OWE China for the loans (as in the debts). China now has an economic strangle hold on quite a few of them. We found that out very rudely when they all blasted off at Australia over climate change. China was a guest at that conference and it was obvious they were pulling strings to test out their influence. What's truly scary is that the West has totally ignored what China was doing. We all forget that the UN general Assembly is like the US Senate. Every country gets 1 vote irrespective of population size. So 1.4 Billion Chinamen get 1 vote while all those small Pacific nations get over a dozen with barley a million people. What I expect is that China will eventually go for economic sanctions on America and we are going to be stunned on how many nations vote with them. It will only be then will people realise what "belt & road" actually is. I've been trying to tell people for a while how scary this is. They actually learnt this from the Japanese who manipulated the international whaling commission in the same way. Plus to add into that are the immense issues China is going to face over the next 20years. First with its skewed demographics that have resulted form the 1 child policy. Second form its idiotic construction of ghost cities which has sponged up a staggering amount of cash. Third from all the wealthy Chinese who are getting their money out of China as fast as they can. Fourth that massive army they have produces no food or products to sell they are just 1 enormous sponge on resources. If you take a look at the Soviet collapse one of its major factors was the massive military it had in terms of people. Military personnel produce nothing but costs that the rest of society has to provide. Because America's military is more technology bases it doesn't have as many people as some think. Plus because of how America works its military produces a lot of economic turnover which Russia's never did and China's does not do. Plus all those foreign companies that have factories in China can now chase even cheaper labor in India and Africa.
