  1. I'm Australian and like Canada and a bunch of other countries we need to be incredibly concerned about what the GOP are becoming. AND YES we know Rupert Murdoch's fingers are all over this nonsense. I actually went to college in America and can barely believe where America is right now. I actually blame the Democrats for a lot of this. They have spent so many years NOT delivering and being lazy about it. If you look at things like the Rand report that detailed how America's top 1% have made $50 Trillion over the last 4 decades or the Congressional Budget Office into family wealth which tells an even worse picture AND THEN REALISE that Clinton and Obama were in power for 16 of those years and GOT NOTHING DONE. They spent so much time pandering to their donors they forgot their base. FYI - Australia's Labor Party has exactly the same problem. What I see of reports on British Labor they also have the same problem. The Democrats (like others) did nothing to deal with the systemic issues and grievances of America's working class. Because the GOP were doing nothing as well it left America wide open to a narcissistic populist like Trump. this is what happens when democratically elected governments GET LAZY and forget how they got elected.
