@Woodbug-b7t Pretty damn close. As an engineer who went to college at the place where the first web browser was developed (U. Illinois) I feel a little guilty. The guys just down the street (and I do mean they really were just down the street) meant well in that they were making computers and information access so much easier. Unfortunately nobody could have predicted (at the time) social media and how that let the journalists forget how to be journalists despite making fact checking 1,000,000 times faster and easier. Plus nobody had a clue that it would also let the village idiots of the world gather together and share their stupidity to a wider audience.
