If you go and look up the PBS Frontline on the prosecution of the Wall St. CEOs who caused the GFC there's a point when Lanny Breuer the Assistant AG under Eric Holder tasked with prosecuting Wall St. says that he had to stop going after them for economic reasons. Its a staggering admission of law enforcement that it wasn't a legal decision to NOT prosecute the top people at places like Goldman Sachs. WHY is anyone surprised we are now where we are?
