DON'T DO COMPLETE CRAP THUMBNAILS and other CLICKBAIT CRAP Its hard enough being an engineer day to day dealing with all the misinformation and garbage that morons produce. I am unsubscribing from your channel NOT BECAUSE OF CONTENT BUT BECAUSE OF CLICKBAITING

Dude I love that you guys are promoting STEM topics but please get your facts right. NASA is NOT just experimenting with hydrogen fuel cells it was what they used in the Apollo program to go to the moon. NASA picked the hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells so that the Astronauts had water supply. If they had done as the Russians proposed with Soyuz, which used solar panels to generate electricity then they would have had to carry all the water that the astronauts needed. It was one of the Oxygen tanks in that Apollo system that exploded on Apollo 13.

@thetooginator153 For starters you need to accept that many (but not all) of the so called "science communicators" have NO TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS. Which is why they make the mistakes they make and try to hide it doing exactly as you describe. If you want to see this guy lambasted then go see thunderf00t's debunk of solid state batteries.

@stevenblack7928 Before you try and correct anyone's science try and learn how to spell first. Its hydrogen with and 'e' not an 'i' And if a hydrogen atom loses its electron then its just a free proton and protons are positively charged.

You are 100% correct. But there's a problem and that's this BULLSHlT lingers on like a really bad fart in an elevator. Just last week I had a neighbor tell me I had no idea regarding what Australia (my country) needs for power generation because I didn't understand the Meisner effect. Other than being an engineer (aerospace) with 35+ years experience in industrial control systems across a bunch of industries and projects that has included a power station, I knew that superconductors have NOTHING to do with power generation. IF they can be made to work they will help power distribution but not power generation. That same neighbor had previously tried to convince me that he could prove Newtons Laws were invalid. And this is the real problem with clowns like Ricky. They might not mean to, but they sow staggering amounts of confusion among people with next to zero education and that has a staggering effect on public discussions around technology. The fact that Ricky is an engineer is incredibly sad for other engineers. He's an embarrassment.
