  1. TO ALL the FDA have Ivermectin approved as an "anti-parasitic" NOT as an anti-viral, which may explain what they stated. What they have found is that even thought its primary function is as a n anti-parasitic its also effective against other things. The Wikipedia page goes through what it is and its history and has a link/reference to a study of its effect on COVID-19 -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivermectin (see reference 13 at the end of the first section (introduction). It was published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases. The title of that paper on that study is "A five-day course of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 may reduce the duration of illness" PLEASE: Read the Abstract. Most of the paper is quite technical, but for scientific papers the "Abstract" at the start is there to give a brief overview. It clearly says what the study was, where it was done and the basic conclusion. BUT it also says "Larger trials will be needed to confirm these preliminary findings."
