I normally like Prof. Wolf as he gives a balanced view of capitalism, but in this entire video he's ignoring the fact that his Marxist brothers have been equally as bad just as every "ism" has inherent faults. I challenge any Marxist to explain the environmental cost to the planet of the destruction of the Aral Sea buy the Marxists in Russia. I challenge any Marxist to explain the environmental cost to humanity of the destruction of the Asian river systems as Marxists in China and other places built dam after dam. I challenge any Marxist to explain the environmental costs across Eastern Europe as Marxist regimes cared just as little as Western Capitalists about pollution. I challenge any Marxist to explain the personal, social and human cost of "re-education camps" that Marxists ran in VERY COUNTRY THEY HAV ECONTROLLED. I agree with all these costs Prof Wolf is talking about BECAUSE HE IS RIGHT, but lets not forget that Marxist regimes have their costs too and that more often than not they are just as inefficient, decided on by people just as selfish and just as greedy. The one fact that all proponents of political systems ignore is that POLITICAL, SOCIAL and/or ECONOMIC POWER no matter what "ism" it operates under attracts narcissists and selfishness just as sure as shit attracts flies.
