I'm an aerospace engineer and you have hit it pretty damn well on the head. Note in the opening hype filled intro the claims about building hypersonic aircraft. Other than mock-ups they haven't built squat. I have watched a couple of their videos that are on their own channel here on YT. I love their enthusiasm but enthusiasm doesn't fly at Mach 5 and considering the issues of trying to fly ANYTHING above Mach 3 let alone Mach 5 I don't think they are much other than another over-hyped start-up with a few interesting ideas. I don't think they are as brazen or as deceitful as Theranos or Nikola but they aren't operating from a solid foundation either.

@GaminHasard The difference is neither you or me is announcing to the world that we have something that doesn't yet exist and on scrutiny has issues that are not being answered while asking for extraordinary amounts of money to be handed over without any proof that what's being claimed can even work. Do you know how many air breathing aircraft of ANY TYPE took off under its own power and flew faster than Mach 3. I only know of 3 of hand. SR-71 Mig-25 XB-70 At Mach 3.3 the SR-71 grew 11 inches in length from the surface heating. When the Mig-25 went at the speeds it was claimed they had to throw the engines away after the flight because the heat did so much damage they were trashed beyond repair. These guys are claiming they will go almost twice as fast. ANYONE who did a degree in aerospace engineering in the last 50 years knows these things. ALL OF US know at the very least that these guys are stretching the truth.
