  2. I'm Australian and we had TV, Radio, newspapers and notice boards long before Facebook ever existed. We didn't need it for decades and we certainly never needed a digital soap box for misinformation clowns - we already had Rupert Murdoch and his brigade of clowns for that. What we will most likely find out is that Facebook just isn't that important. I never had it and rarely accessed it for anything. It has survived on HYPE and the ILLUSION of being necessary and it SIMPLY ISN'T! Hopefully we'll prove to the rest of the world that Facebook isn't necessary for people to have meaning.
