Look at the televangelists, flat earth brigade, moon landing hoaxers or any of some of the other idiotic things that millions of Americans believe in. For one example look at Kenneth Copeland the low end estimates of his wealth is $350 million. Another is Alex Jones who apparently makes over $50million a year from his over priced overrated name brand products. How about the scammers claiming the Apollo missions were faked as they sell all sorts of crap to gullible people. What Trump has actually exposed is how gullible people can be (even in a developed nation) if you stop funding education properly. He's raised over $200million SINCE the election that will help pay off his debts and pay for the lawyers. Giuliani is charging $20k a day. Why wouldn't they keep this going as long as possible when 10s of millions are coming in each week that they pocket.
