@psycobleach46 Well done you just pointed out why this mess is as bad as it is. Mitch McConnell had the chance to put limits on Trump at the Impeachment. He could have done as they did with Clinton. Yes you Mr. President you did as you are accused but we consider it a mistake rather than a deliberate act and will allow you to stay as President. They never said it openly to Clinton but the message was clear - "Behave or we will throw your ass out." And that's McConnell's true failure - NOT putting a leash and muzzle on Trump and look at what has now happened.

@psycobleach46 Its actually very important that people get things right at this point. There will be no justice if people keep screaming idiotic garbage. I forget which film it was but it was bout the Nuremberg trials and one of the lawyers had doubts. And his commander told to go into court, stick to the facts and explain that what these people did was wrong and WHY. Right now Trump can write out a swath of pardons. He can then resign and wave the middle finger at everyone. Impeach him just for his comments at the rally as sedition. He could be gone by lunchtime and it can be done in a proper way that he can't get out of. Then Giuliani, Ivanka, Jared and the rest have no where to hide. And what can the Republicans claim? Fair simple trials, kept it factual, keep it simple and send'em to jail.
