  1. Aerospace engineer here - UNBELIEVABLY EXELLENT PRESENTATION. FYI - I went to the University of Illinois where Marc Andreessen went. I finished my degree the year before he started there. What staggers me about his current attitude is his opposition to state funded colleges. He not only went to a state funded college but one of the most well funded colleges in America. Illinois in the late 80s was the World Center of Supercomputing with Cray moving there because that was where the people who could make multi-core systems and vector processing work. Andreessen "worked at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois, where he became familiar with Tim Berners-Lee's open standards for the World Wide Web." (see Wikipedia). So he was a very lucky person in just the right place at just the right time to develop what became the Worlds first practical Web Browser (Mosaic) which then became NetScape. So for him to not be able to clearly describe what he's sponsoring in terms of crypto is like Einstein not being able to explain basic physics.
