  1. I'm an engineer and I'd like to help you out on technical stories like the the energy plans that our stupid sides of politics are trying run with. Labor's wont work for a couple of technical reasons which can be overcome BUT the ALPs nuclear plan is a DISASTER and NOT because its nuclear. There's actually sound reasons for a couple of nuke plants to support our major population centres of Melbourne and Sydney and maybe Brisbane. But the SINGLE BIGGEST PROBLEM is that engineers are NOT being involved in the discussion on either side. Its not a matter if its renewables or nuclear there's no engineers involved. Did you know that both reports that each side had prepared were NOT DONE by engineers or involved engineers but were done by economists? Have you ever stopped to ask WHY the CSIRO has a team of economists advising our government on energy?????? The 'S' in CSIRO is for SCIENCE not economics.
