  1. AUSTRALIAN HERE - This is exactly why the next US POTUS is such a big deal to the rest of the world. Either America will elect someone who can reign in this out of control SCOTUS or THE REST of the world will end up REBELLING AGAINST America and that includes all those nations that usually side with or are allied to America. No matter what any America thinks there is the simple fact that the US$ is the World's Reserve Currency. Almost all international trade depends on the STABILITY and RELIABILITY of the US$ and for that to happen 2 things have to exist. 1) The US Government is RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE & PREDICTABLE; and 2) We can rely on the US Courts to be RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE & PREDICTABLE. And with the current status of SCOTUS neither the US Government or Courts are RELIABLE when SCOTUS can simply overrule anything the US Government wants or overrule anything other courts adjudicate on including courts in other nations. Go look up the Steven Donziger case regarding what Texaco (now part of Chevron) did in Ecuador. How is anyone meant to do business with America when the US Courts behave like that?
