The most ridiculous part of the entire "woke" discussion is that up until a few years ago it woke had NOTHING TO DO with LBGT rights or anything on the political Left EXCEPT for the economic situation of African Americans. This is where people on the Left repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot and fail to get things done in meaningful ways. 1) They grab a hold of a cause; AND THEN 2) Hijack the public discussion with a convenient tag, like woke; AND THEN 3) Make it the center piece of EVERYTHING they see wrong with the world; AND THEN The Right come in with their culture war BS and bash the hell out of everything turning it into a gigantic ugly shitfest.
