@freyathewanderer6359 Australian here and YES we HAD some serious issues with Police and high intensity confrontations where they shot and killed too many people. We chose to NOT go down the American path and ended rethinking and then retraining every officer in the country on how to deal with high intensity situations. Even after all the effort we've made things still go wrong every so often, but at least we have nowhere near the issues America has. We don't have cops choking people to death in the street as people film it on their smartphones and our children can go to school and not get shot in a rampage.

IMAGINE what the NRA and other gun advocacy groups would say if the police were handing out the details of what sorts of guns various people had? IMAGINE what the libertarians would say if the Electoral commission started handing out the details of what money various PACs and Super PACs were getting and who they got it from??
