  1. WHAT Trumps punishment SHOULD BE versus WHAT IT WILL BE are 2 very, very, very, very different things. Sadly the fact is Trump is an ex-US President and as such is entitled to Secret Service protection. So whatever happens must take that into consideration and that's just the first of many things. No matter what anyone thinks this is an extraordinary event for America. Despite all that various America presidents have done over 200+ years deserving of punishment Trump is the FIRST convicted in a criminal court. This puts America into unchartered territory and NOBODY knows where it will go.
