  3.  @earlviney5212  One of the things that America did NOT inherit from their British cousins was the idea of the "debtors prison" where they basically threw you in jail for your debts. Prof. Mark Blyth (Brown U.) mentioned that there used to be a saying: "Bail, fail go to jail!" Which basically meant that if you failed after being bailed out people just tossed you in jail. Mark says that's been replaced with" "Bail, Bail nobody goes to jail." You really have to screw up and do a real crime to go to jail like Elizabeth Holmes did.
