  1. I agree the entire Nobel prizes system is now so corrupt and bent and twisted that its meaningless. The fact they not only awarded the Peace Prize to a monster like Kissinger is just the start of a very long list of hypocritical winners. In that vein 3 of the most ridiculous I know of are: - Barrack Obama got the Peace Prize as he was increasing drone strikes that lead to more innocent lives being lost. - William Nordhaus won the economics prize for his modelling of climate change economics despite the fact he was instrumental in scuttling climate change policies during the Bush Whitehouse in the early 90s. - Milton Freidman who with Kissinger worked with Pinochet and re-wrote the economics of Chile and that's before anyone starts discussing what Freidman's garbage has done to the rest of Western Society.
