@taniagordon2589 I'm an engineer and back in college I did a sociology class as an option on "technology in society" and one of our case studies was the M16 the military version of the AR15 and yes there are some differences. The bullet dynamics of the AR15 were specifically designed for maximum damage to a human body. Its not just the shape and size of the bullet but how it spins and tumbles. Don't be shocked it was designed for war and the task in war is to kill the enemy. Its the result of several thousand years of warfare experience and strategy. The idea that AR15s (and similar) belong anywhere but a battlefield is utter nonsense.
