Not necessarily. Like every system of government its about HOW its applied. If there was a theocracy that actually did follow Jesus or a few other prophets then there'd be free health care for all, free education for all, there wouldn't be the money in religion like there is today. If those maniacs in Eastern Europe had actually followed some of what Marx told them about being fair those countries would NOT have collapsed they way they did. These days I hear so many people screaming about capitalism and the NEVER point out that its the current from of rapacious capitalism we now have that's the problem. They all forget that under the post WW2 Keynesian system inequality was lowest its ever been, WEALTH increased across most of society. Then Reagan and the neoliberals started pulling apart all the things that had made American society so wealthy that they went to the Moon with the spare change. The things is if you let ANY of these political systems go unchecked into the hands of people who will abuse society it doesn't matter what kind of "ocracy" or "garchy" that you have the bulk of society will end up suffering.
