Bibi Netanyahu, Vladimir Putin,... accountable? LAWYERS Why can't we control the money in politics that's made Western Democracy so dysfunctional? @declanashmore Exactly - it wouldn't matter because either way there'd be a hoard of lawyers scrambling to argue it out and see how much money they could screw out of the mess they'd create. That's not to say all lawyers are money driven greedy sociopaths but I did hear once that the Grand Canyon was NOT formed by the erosion of the Colorado River. It was created when a lawyer dropped a quarter down a rabbit hole. Bizarrely he didn't dig it out to get the quarter back. He dug it out so he could serve the rabbit papers.
