That's very accurate. I was in China 3 years ago for work and the Chinese people are just like every one else. They go to work every day trying to provide for their families and make their lives better. It really is that simple. The interpreter we had told me something very interesting one morning at breakfast. We talked about job loses to China and she told me that China didn't have to take any jobs, Western Companies came looking for cheap labor where there were no unions. BUT the real eye popping thing she told me was that Chinese workers are scared of losing their jobs to even cheaper labor in Africa. That process has already started with companies leaving China for Africa.

@AdrianLeeMagill I was actually in China for some work a few years ago and one morning I discussed some issues with the interpreter. We got to the point where I told here it would get to the point where we simply could not buy Chinese goods because, because unemployed people don't have money for anything. First point she brought up was that China didn't need to steal jobs because western executives simply made those decisions. THEN she really surprised me and told me that the Chinese workers were getting worried that those same companies were starting to move to Africa for the next source of cheap labor. So it would not surprise me in the slightest they are also moving to India and Vietnam.

@baxile Well its fairly questionable that 90% of the Chinese population is 100% behind the CCP. I'd grant you its probably pretty high, except in places like Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet. But lest face it most Chinese probably know its better to say they approve of the CCP rather than get a trip to a re-education camp. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
