As usual with issues that matter - NO WHERE.

I'm Australian and we've had a problem with illegal Indonesian fishing in our waters for decades. Mind you we've also had huge problems with illegal fishing boats from China, Japan and South Africa as well. And then there are our own homegrown issues with environmental vandalism and our companies acting like shit in other countries including Indonesia (like Santos).

@123thesophster You absolutely right on the production of meat over vegetation for food. The productivity per square meter is barely worth comparing. Across the world companies like McDonalds, Monsanto,.... etc. have a lot to answer for in terms of how they have affected agriculture. They do it either by how they source their raw food or by how they produce it or affecting how others produce it. The mismanagement of water has been one of the incredible trademarks of governments of all types. In America just look at the Colorado River that no longer even flows into Mexico let alone reaches the sea. In Russia there is the disaster of the Aral Sea, that even if it can be recovered will take decades if not a century (or more). In China there's the Yongding, which was the main water supply for Beijing for centuries and has not flowed through Beijing for over 30 years because of upstream irrigation schemes. I'm Australian and we are on the verge of collapsing our entire main eastern river system the Murry-Darling and that is purely from unbelievably bad management. Its so bad it borders on treason.

No so easy. There are massive parts of China where you cant grow anything, because its desert. I'm Australian and our mainland is close in size to mainland America. They have 330 million we have 25 and that simply because most of our country is simply not suitable for agriculture. What is coming is a war for food or water or both and its going to get very, very, ugly.
