@aceocean3450 I'm going to try and step between your comment and andrew bruce's comment. Cornell West said it was a weak response and Kyle says it was measured. How about how LOADED the questioning by Stefanik was? When you consider just how polarised the whole situation and the chances of anyone getting in a measured response you'd almost be insane trying to answer any of these questions because no matter what you say there'll be someone who grabs some part of the answer and tries to beat you to death with it. Just consider how Stefanik was demanding a straight Yes/No answer to a complex question. Just look at how if you miss properly referencing something in a paper that you're considered a criminal. If anything this entire fiasco is just ANOTHER example that illustrates how dysfunctional our media, politics and education systems have become. Around 20 years ago when the very last WW1 soldiers died I remember people commenting how long it would take for us to forget how destructive WW1 was. Here we are now at a similar point where the last of the WW2 veterans are almost gone and we've forgotten how destructive that was and that it ended with nuclear weapons. Because we have people OPENLY discussing the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine and Gaza. INSTEAD of discussing how we stop that from happening we have this crap.

Is it just me or can you see the day when some of these people like Hannity, Tucker Carlson and others step out their front door and something very ugly happens when people finally say they have had enough of having them screeching this garbage? The sad part is I can also see some poor dude going to jail for a very long time.
