Below is exactly the same answer I just gave to another thread above and the stuff at the bottom has a link to a question after a lecture that goes straight to the issue of comprehensive and detailed policies. Yang's problem was that he (like so many others) had good ideas, BUT good ideas do not win in politics. Most people do not want ANYTHING explained or have the THINK about anything. Its why very simple things like Obama's "Hope & Change" and Trumps "Make America Great Again" worked so well. Back in July 2019 Prof Mark Blyth (Brown U.) gave this awesome presentation on "Global Trumpism" after it there was a Q&A session and one question was on Elizabeth Warren. Listen to what he says and you'll see why so many well intended people FAIL in politics.
