Oh shit dude there you go having to spoil all the fun we could have with this by using FACTS. Noam Chomsky termed the phrase the "United States of Amnesia" and lets face it most of America has forgotten about its Cuban gulag. I agree with Noam, but I would describe FACTS as "America's allergy," because lets face it every time somebody points out a FACT all the American's present turn their heads away as if they are about to sneeze.

@robertstan298 Yeah, that's hard to deny. Whatever claims they may have had regarding combatants have been lost. It wasn't justifiable under Bush. There wasn't any justification to keep it going under Obama or Trump and for it to still be there is blight on the entire Western Hemisphere. The question EVERY American should be asked is "What about Gitmo?" The question every other western government should be asked is "Why aren't you asking the Americans about Gitmo?" Trying to wish away Gitmo isn't going to work.

@JamesDavy2009 Oh yeah Stalin was a maniac to put it mildly. Way back at the start of the Soviet Republic they used to hold elections each year to confirm or change the party leadership. At that stage Russia was Communist Democracy and yeah I know that sounds almost contradictory to what most people know. It worked well at first and then one year they decided they'd had enough of one Joseph Stalin and VOTED his ass out. He didn't take rejection well and promptly had his Bolshevik maniacs kill the entire party off after which he took over and the USSR became what we got to know it as a totalitarian dictatorship.. Does that sound familiar? Its interesting that Trump got on so well with that fat little maniac from North Korea because he too claims his country is a "Democratic Republic" when its actually a Stalinist Dictatorship. The comparisons between Trump and Hitler are wrong. Trump's way more like Stalin than Hitler.
