  1. I've been wondering the same thing. What would happen if there was an Amazon protest where people said "NO - not until you provide PPE, stopped the idiotic pressures on staff and paid at least $15/hr to all staff." What Bezos would lose in a couple of days would cover those costs for a year.

  2. (edit) I missed you were talking about her my comment is about Kyles remarks. Yeah but he's not wrong. In many of his talks and interviews Prof Mark Blyth from Brown has repeatedly pointed out that the massive bailout packages after the GFC did NOTHING to inflation. The governments around the world dumped Trillions (with a T) into those packages and NOTHING happened with inflation. It doesn't matter if you look at the packages Bush or Obama or the European Central Bank or anyone else pushed they didn't affect inflation at all. Anyone who ever did a basic class in economics knows they teach you on day 1 the ONLY drivers of prices are supply and demand. If there is not enough supply or there is too much demand then prices go up. If there is over supply or not enough demand the prices go down. When wages go up people can spend more and that increases the demand for goods - there's the demand increase. If factories close or the ports close or there's a shortage of truck drivers then SUPPLY DROPS and prices go up. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ I did economics 101 in college as an option to my engineering degree. I learned all that on day 1.
