  1. The problem with too many politicians (and NOT just in America) is that they are opportunist. One day they will do something positive because the opportunity suits them and the next day they will be despicable because the opportunity suits them. For a completely cynical rat bag like Matt Gaetz this is an opportunity to say "See I can be reasonable and work with others" and he'll milk this moment for months as he tramples on people. Is he alone in that behavior? Not in the slightest as that's almost a prerequisite for anybody to get endorsed by a major political party.
