  1. Well actually Comey didn't say anything but "consider" and that might be just a warning that Joe Biden needs to have an answer ready. Those millions of Trump supporters aren't simply going to disappear or be silent. They will likely be demanding pardons in future. But in the American system pardons have a catch and that is - accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt.   2.  @whatsername123  If you've watched a few of Glenn's recent videos on the stuff that's been surfacing its getting worse and I would suspect that even Jim Comey will be changing his assessment shortly because I do agree with Glenn. Trump and others need to be charged and prosecuted and sent to jail. BUT I would guess Comey would also want it to be quick and simple and with very little spotlight. I personally think Comey is broad thinker who looks ahead at the potential outcomes. If you consider some of the alternative outcomes in 2016 with him coming out and saying they found more emails. There's a Russian commentator Masha Gessen and Masha was interviewed on the Australian show "Planet America" and asked about Putin and interference in 2016. The assessment was interesting. Putin is NOT the strategic mastermind most people think. He's pretty smart and very ruthless but he's not the mastermind Sun Tzu type strategist. In Putin's brain elections are decided well in advance and the outcome is assured well in advance, because that's his experience with Russian democracy. So Putin expected Hilary to win and win easily and if that's basically true then what was he really up to. That gets to an interesting conclusion. Putin hates Clinton as she was instrumental in the sanctions against Russia. its pretty simple he expected Clinton to win and he wanted her at war with the Republican controlled House and Senate. Just imagine if Comey had kept quiet and Hilary had won and then after the election it came out that there were other emails and they kept it quiet. Just imagine how the conspiracy nutters and rest of the Republicans would have responded. Imagine how Trump would have responded. They would have screamed "collusion" they would have screamed about how the head of the FBI covered up. It would have been the Salem witch trials all over again. They would have impeached Clinton and Comey and thrown them in jail. I personally have no doubt Comey made the right call. As bad as it was the alternative could have been far worse and considering what Putin wanted a Clinton White house would have been a disaster. What Putin didn't plan on was that Comey would do the right thing because in Putin's world people in those positions are loyal or dead. What he got instead was the Trump WH and that's been almost as destructive on America. American politics gave Putin a win win 2016 and a repeat win win in 2020.

  3.  @whatsername123  Without clarification, your right. But if you listen to what he's describing. Kyle dos an NRA move by focusing only on the final few words. Not good on his part. Comey doesn't dismiss going after Trump he puts emphasis on prioritizing "things that are gonna matter over the next 4 years". Right at this very instant (forget everything else) what's more important than getting the $2K out to desperate people and getting COVID under control. Why are they even fucking with checks (or cheques if you spelling is different). Why not just allow people to use their SSN and some ID to register a bank account at ANY Federal building. Go in with a piece (or pieces) of ID, an SSN and a bank account. it should not take more that 2-3 minutes to check the IDs and SSN. And with modern technology it should not take more than a few seconds to transfer money and let people buy food. Most people should have the $2K before they leave the building and start towards the supermarket. Modern data bases can check (almost instantly) if ANY number (SSN, drivers license, car registration, power bill account, phone number) is used twice. Its called modern technology. Trump can wait. Starving cash strapped Americans with an out of control pandemic cant.

  4.  @whatsername123  Your dead right the Senate will don nothin more than disqualify him from further office. What congress needs to do to ram it home is also impeach people like Sean Spicer, Kellyanne Conjob, Bull Barr, Jared & Ivanka, who by having official positions can also be impeached and convicted and disqualified. I think that's maybe more important because they need to send a message to people who will facilitate things like what Trump did.

  7.  @stevenr5149  Have you ever heard the expression "Hope for the best but plan for the WORST" 74,223,744 million people just voted for Trump that's 11 million more than 2016. Do people like you stop and THINK how that happened when every poll on the planet said Trumps base was shrinking? Have you considered for even a minute those people are the most well armed civilian population on the planet and they have been stockpiling so much ammunition that the gun stores have run out. There's NO WAY Trump should be pardoned that's common sense. BUT Biden has to go through the process of what might happen if he does and what might happen if he doesn't. SO THAT HE HAS THE ANSWERS. If Biden DOES NOT pardon Trump he has to be able to tell 74,223,744 people WHY - so that they don't start a civil war. If Biden DOES pardon Trump he has to tell 7.5 billion on this planet WHY yet another war criminal gets away with it - so they don't start a revolution. *WHY DON'T YOU LEARN THAT. IS IT EVER POSSIBLE THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU CAN JUST THINK WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN AND PLAN FOR IT*

  8.  @whatsername123  Actually the Impeachment wont be so symbolic if they prevent him from running again. Its actually one thing I hope they continue with on the other rats. If they let the courts deal with those who facilitated this mess or were simply corrupt in their own right then a future President can pardon them as Trump did with Jared's father. Yeah - a lot of people forgot that Charles Kushner was tried and convicted and sent to prison for campaign finance violations. NO President can pardon someone convicted by Impeachment. So if they impeach Ivanka, Jared and all the others who held official positions they can then ban them from future official positions. That's not as trivial as it sounds. For starters it would keep them out of politics and official positions in future. It would also stain there careers and could prevent them from all sorts of roles. It would certainly set a president that if your going to be corrupt then you will get dealt with and that has sadly NOT been the case for many decades. Lets not forget that people like Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz got away with mass murder, torture and other stuff that should have put them away for centuries.
